Associate Project Manager

EU & Balt. > Project ManagementConstruction is responsible for installing, commissioning and finally handover wind farms to the client. Working close together with the client and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, efficiently and with a high-quality standard.The Project Managers ensure Wind Turbine Installation projects are planned and executed within the scope of the contract, on time and within budget. Customer relationship management, quality control, safety and leadership towards the complete project team are key functions within their remit.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely together with different stakeholders across the department and regionEnsuring that Wind Turbine projects for a region or portfolio are planned and optimised with the correct scope, strategy, contract, time schedule, budget and are aligned between all stakeholdersThe Associate Project Manager will support the mentioned function but will run their own project as well in a different area of the department The position will involve rotating within the department, learning new tasks and functions, getting a broad view of the whole scope of a Project Manager role, this is likely to involve spending time out on site as well as a station overseasThis position is a platform for an entry-level talent to grow and develop their career in Project Management for the future here at Vestas QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplineFirst experience in the construction wind industry is a plusCost awareness and business acumenFluent language skills in English, other Southeast-European languages are a plusReadiness to travel - around 30 % CompetenciesTeamplayerCustomer oriented with good communication skillsStrong analytical skillsSelf-independent and a structured way of working on your own responsibilityFocused and goal-oriented What we offerWe offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, dynamic, high performing and international work environment in the renewable energy sector.
