CTO Performance Program Manager
The role is organized within the Portfolio and Performance solutions team in the technology organization and supports mainly the CTO and R&D functions within Life Sciences. The main tasks are to lead change projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be responsible for complex assignments with long-term business implications and the simplification of business processes as well as for smaller, to improve the performance and efficiency of the organization.
Conduct a broad range of change and process improvement projects across GEHC Life Sciences globally and drive implementation to secure performance improvements in the business
Ensure delivery of projects by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, enlisting the co-operation of colleagues, monitoring project progress, and maintaining up-to-date plans
Anticipating and scouting business needs, defining, building and developing projects by proactively bringing together appropriate people and project resources
Create and maintain standard project management artefacts such as project plan, risk & issue register, change log, budget tracker, progress reports.
Effectively managing, mitigating & escalating risks and issues. This would include identifying, monitoring and controlling inter dependencies between projects/workstreams.
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the Business
Carry out research and investigative work to ensure projects are based on the best available data and validated opinions
Managing and influencing internal resources that may be required to deliver sub-projects and deliverables
Lead or support internal strategy projects focused on new business opportunities or internal operations
Design, develop and effectively handle leadership team support-related activities and communications with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and confidentiality
M Sc or B Sc from an accredited university or college preferably but not limited to the engineering or technical discipline
Substantial demonstrable experience in a functional business environment
Leadership experience in the areas of project and programme management, operations and quality is preferred
MBA or post graduate qualification in business or financial management
Post graduate qualification in operational performance improvement or other related discipline.
Experience in business consulting
Industrial experience in the life science area
Lean Leader or/and Black Belt preferred
Change manager with strong credibility and influence in the organization
Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership
